Now in its seventeenth year on Broadway. The Phantom reigns in the netherworld beneath the stage of the Paris Opera House. Bizarrely deformed, he passes his time terrorizes the members of the Opera, a bit of payback for his condition he believes. But this is a love story and it comes to pass that he falls in love with a young singer. The love is not unrequited.
